The brake as sem blies should be in spected and

justed every 2,000 miles or monthly. Ex

the brake lin ings visu ally to lo cate the lin ing show -
ing the great
est amount of wear. The wheel and
drum should be re moved and the lin ings re placed
if the thin
nest por
tion of the lin
ing is 3/8 in. (9.5
mm) or less. Do not al low the lin ings to wear thin
enough that the lin ing rivet con tacts the drum.
