punctures, swelling, wear, signs of arcing /
brittle / fatigue / heat, post condition and
visual defects.
Buss Bars
Inspect insulation for bulging, cuts,
deterioration, dry rot, dents, wear, signs of
brittle / fatigue / heat and visual defects.
Inspect for cracks, distortion, warping,
signs of arcing / brittle / fatigue / heat or
defects that might cause poor conductivity.

Inspect retainer for bends, breaks, burrs,
cracks, dents, wear, signs of arcing / brittle

/ fatigue / heat, clogged cooling fins and
visual defects.
Inspect mounting / terminal hardware for
bends, breaks, burrs, cracks, dents, wear,
signs of arcing / brittle / fatigue / heat, tread
condition and visual defects.
Inspect components and mounting
hardware for corrosion, dirt and grease
build up.

wet spots, thread condition, signs of brittle /

Inspect couplers and fittings for cracks,
dents, leaks, thread damage, wear, and
visual defects.
Reservoir
Inspect the exterior surfaces for bends,
burrs, cracks in metal / welds, dents,
distortion, leaks, punctures, wear and
visual defects.
