WORK WITH CULTIVATOR
Before starting work in the field with the GRASSER cultivator:
•
Dismantle warning signs (including screwed handles) used for transport on
public roads,
•
unlock hydraulic cylinders for unfolding of the machine.
•
Lower a tractor jack and leave it in the floating position.
If during operation the cultivator gets clogged with excessive amounts of plant
debris, it should be cleaned by lifting the tractor hydraulic lifting jack for a moment. The
cultivator should be adjusted during the first ride. If the cultivator is correctly leveled,
the frame is parallel to the field surface.
CAUTION
- When working with the cultivator, avoid sudden jerks.
- Turn gently with absolute lifting
of the cultivator to transport position.
- Do not reverse or make a U-turn if the cultivator is in the working
position, as it may damage the cultivator.
