Simple Repairs
Replacing the Grill Controller
Pick up a grill controller form the POS Spares Depot.
NOTE:
If not available through Spares Depot, call the POS
Helpdesk at 1-800-500-5225, Option 2
1. Use a small screwdriver to pop the harness plugs of the back of the old
grill controller. (DO NOT pull on the wires). Mark or tag the plugs to
correspond to the numbers on the back of the grill controller.
2. Connect the harness plugs to the back of the new controller correctly.
3. Plug in the controller and turn it on
4. Ensure the set temperatures are 350° F or 375° F, as appropriate, and
calibrate the grill controller
5. Return the old grill controller to the POS Spares Depot with a
completed CSA Form. (See the Restaurant Administration volume of
the Reference System for procedures on how to complete a SCA form)
