Edge Erase
Use this function to erase all four
margins of the original image.

Using Edge Erase mode

When not using Edge Erase mode
When printing from thick books,
or similar originals, the binding
margin at the edges might appear
on prints. The machine erases
these margins automatically. If
you do not use Edge Erase mode
using the following kind of origi-
nals, the images to be printed
might be also erased.

You can adjust the size of the mar-
gins with the user tools. The de-
fault value is 2mm, 0.1". See “13.

Tools Menu”.
