Unlike Lanner Generation 3 bypass, Generation 2 bypass is configured through the BIOS menu as described
in
Lanner Generation 2 LAN Bypass Configuration

Chapter 4 BIOS Settings
.

The LAN bypass can be turned on or off in two system states, i.e., power on and power off. The
following are the illustration of the possibilities of LAN bypass configuration with respect to both
power-on and power-off states.

A watchdog timer can be used to control the LAN Bypass function dynamically by programming.
Lanner also provides sample code for bypass control with WDT via programming.
