802.1X
Configuration
Here you can configure the 802.1X parameters of the switch. IEEE 802.1X can be employed to connect users to a
variety of resources including Internet access, conference calls, or printing documents on shared printers.
IEEE 802.1X is an IEEE
for port-based Network Access Control. It is part of the IEEE 802.1 group of
networking protocols. It provides an authentication mechanism to devices wishing to attach to a LAN or WLAN.
To configure IEEE 802.1X in the web UI:
1.
Click Security, 802.1X and Configuration.
2.
Set the System Configuration section parameters.
3.
Set the Port Configuration section parameters.
4.
Click the Apply button to save the settings.
5.
To cancel the settings, click the Reset button. It will revert to previously saved values.
