RDL DS0 Configuration Update
When the configuration of DS0 bundling maps is changed and the RDL feature
is turned off, the changes must be sent to the far-end Access-T. This is still done
using the
SYSTEM—DS0 CONFIGURATION—SEND
menu path. However, when the
RDL feature is turned on and a change is made to the near-end DS0 configura-
tion using the
SYSTEM—DS0 CONFIGURATION—CHANGE MAP x
menu path, you will
see the following message displayed after entering the new DS0 configuration:
For RDL to work, this new DS0 configuration must be sent to the remote end.
Send now? (Y/N)
Entering
Y
immediately sends the new DS0 configuration to the far-end
Access-T.
For complete instructions on DS0 configuration procedures, see the Access-T
Installation and Operation manual: ACST-0351-005.
