Relamping Instructions for

WORK LIGHT
WARNING: When relamping work light, disconnect
power. Failure to do so could result in electrical
shock.
1.
Loosen strain relief from handle end of light and
slide down the cord.
2.
Loosen and remove the four brass Allen Head
screws using the appropriate tool.
3.
Slide handle cap doughnut off the end of the
handle to gain access to the handle cap. With a
slow
rocking motion, slide the handle cap and
lamp-head assembly from the handle and cage
casing
assembly.
4.
Remove the shock from the end of the lamp and
set aside. Grasping lamp holder in one hand and
lamp in other hand, remove the lamp with a slow
rocking motion and discard.
5.
Replace lamp with
same type and rating
lamp or
equivalent. Slide shock on the end of the lamp.
Slide lamp into lamp holder assembly until a click
is heard.
6.
Make a visual inspection of the “O” Ring. If “O”
Ring has any sign of wear contact

for replacement part. Check the black
shrink-wrap
fitting for any signs of damage.
7.
Slide the lamp assembly back into handle and
cage
assembly, aligning the four screw holds.
Tighten
brass screws and torque to 35lbf-ft
(47.5N-m).
Slide handle cap doughnut onto handle
cap, align
holes with screws. Slide strain-relief into
place and
tighten to a snug fit.
8.
Test light in a non-hazardous location before using
in a hazardous location to ensure proper opera
-
tion of lamp.
