8.4 JOB BOX TROUBLESHOOTING
•
If the relays for the lights and/or air compressor need to be
serviced, they will be found in the black job box.
•
The relays are behind the metal plate mounted to the back
wall of the job box.
•
To get them you will need a 7/16" Socket/Wrench to undo
the
2
bolts holding the
aluminum cover
.
o
Note: Make sure all power to the system is off
before making any electrical servicing.
o
After removing the bolts, remove the
aluminum
cover
and set aside.
•
To change any of the relays,
remove
the end block using a
small Phillip's screwdriver and set aside.
•
Disconnect the connections to
all of
the relays.
•
To remove a relay
,
pull it out from the side.
•
Replace the old
relay
with a new
replacement relay
and slide
it back into
place and carefully make the proper connections.
•
Once all desired relays are replaced and all connections
are
made, put the end block back in.
•
Replace the
aluminum
co
ver and continue use of the unit.
•
Make sure to charge the batteries on the unit.
•
The battery charger is always on 12V, normal condition.
•
The interface will indicate the battery percentage (25%, 50%,
75%, 100%).
•
To charge the battery you must turn on the generator and let
it run until the battery is charged more than 50%.
o
You will need to turn the main breaker on the
generator on, as well as the 30A/air compressor,
breaker on in the main breaker box.
Upon doing this you will see the battery
charger light come on in the job box.
•
If the battery charger indicator light is on any other function
besides 12V Normal, use the MODE button to cycle through
until you get back to 12V Normal.
