16. CROSSING ROOFS/CEILING
INFLAMMABLES
Be very careful when getting through walls, ceilings or roofs made of
flammable materials. The high smoke temperatures can start a fire.
Do always respect the safety distances as per UNI 10683 Italian
regulation. For all other countries, respect all local and national
regulations in force.
A = isolated double-walled tube
B = flammable material
X = The distance indicated on the chimney plate GXXX in mm
17. MAIN PELLET LOAD TANK
The opening of the sliding door for pellet loading varies depending on
the models. The corner and 3 glass models have a loading door on
both lateral sides. On the other models the opening of the slide door
for pellet loading is on the right side at the top (looking at the fireplace
in front).
WARNING: the pellet loading door must
necessarily remain closed while the appliance is
operating.
Using the appliance with the door open is prohibited as
it alters all combustion values.
Do not overfill the tank with the risk of spilling the
pellets.
It is forbidden to leave pellets on the hot parts of the
appliance, especially on the top cover, it could catch fire. In
case of accidental leaking from the pellet tank, it must be
strictly removed and vacuumed because the dust can
circulate and create dust in the environment.
During loading, make sure that the plastic / paper bag does
not come into contact with hot areas of the appliance.
However, it is highly recommended not to load directly
from the bag but to use a scoop, making sure there are
no foreign bodies in the bag.
To ensure trouble-free combustion, the pellets must be
stored in a dry place. The use of poor quality pellets or
any other material damages the functions of your
appliance and may result in the termination of the
warranty
and
the
associated
liability
of
the
manufacturer.
Do not allow the accumulation of sawdust on the
bottom of the tank, monthly vacuum the sawdust
deposited inside the main tank.
During operation, if you notice that the pellet tank is empty, DO
NOT LOAD PELLETS INTO THE TANK with the appliance switched
on. Switch off the appliance with the ON / OFF button and only after
finishing the final cleaning and the chimney has turned OFF, you can
reload the pellets in the tank paying close attention to the hot parts (if
necessary use an oven glove to avoid burns). ATTENTION: it is
mandatory to always clean the brazier and the combustion chamber
before re-igniting the appliance. If the described procedure is not
carried out, pellets may accumulate in the brazier with the flame out
with a consequent risk of gas generation and possible internal
deflagration..
18. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Check for the wall plug to be adequate to the stove electrical
requirements: 230V/50Hz and 350Watt. Make sure the electrical cord
doesn’t get in touch with any hot part of the stove, doesn’t run over
the smoke connection, a proper earth is available and a proper circuit
breaker is fitted. In case of irregular power supply (normally in remote
or mountain areas), do not worry, your stove is protected with two
5X20 4A STD between the main switch and the cord plug on the rear
panel. Check the fuses before installing the stove.
WARNING: The electrical system must be
equipped with a suitable grounding circuit compliant
with the 72/23 EEC, 93/98 EEC regulations.
Make sure that the plug for the electrical connection is
accessible even after installing the appliance and that in
its final position it is not heated by radiation or by
contact with hot parts. Variations in the voltage of the
electricity network exceeding 10% of the nominal value,
may affect the correct operation of the appliance,
causing anomalies in the electrical system of the
product and may lead to the termination of the warranty
and the attached liability of the manufacturer.
