21. FORCED AIR HEATING
The appliance is equipped with 2 centrifugal fans for air heating that
work simultaneously and can be managed by the customer through
the MENU '01 - REGOLA FAN. The VENT3 can be adjusted by
pressing the 1 key on the remote control to change the speed from 0
(off) to speed 5 (maximum) or A (automatic, the power of the device
follows). A kit is available as OPTIONAL to separate and manage the
fans separately: it must be requested from the CAT during installation.
For optimum installation, we recommend using thermally and
phonically isolated tubes to ensure the best acoustic and thermal
comfort.
The fan has the following characteristics: Ø 80 mm, 230V, 50W,
160m3 / h tube collar.
The tube can be brought to a grid on the hood or can be channeled
into another room, even splitting it with a Y.
Total length of pipework: max 5 meters linear.
The heating air enters the front tube bundle (see figure on the side),
passes through the inner tubes above the combustion chamber and
exits forcefully from the upper 2 fans.
WARNING: it is therefore very important to provide
an air supply grille at the bottom of the mantle around
the fireplace at least 600 cm2 for convection air to
ensure proper air supply for both combustion and
heating (See CHAPTER 11).
22. STEEL SMOKING DEFLECTORS
The unit is supplied with 3 stainless steel flue deflectors (A) mounted
on the first tube bundle in the upper part of the combustion chamber.
They are pushed to the front of the chimney
and cleaned at least
once a year (open the sliding door of the appliance, enter with the
hand at the top of the combustion chamber, lift the baffles, tilt them,
pull them down inside Of the tube bundle and wipe them off the ash.
To reposition the deflectors, perform the reverse process.)
23. SLIDING DOOR 3 GLASSES
The appliance has a door made of 3 silk-screened ceramic glassware.
The opening is made by sliding through guides around the door lock.
To open the door for charging the wood or for cleaning you must:
Unlock the door by holding the magnets: rotate the lever under the
handle clockwise.
