In relation to buildings, the term thermal bridge refers to an area, e.g. an inside wall,
at which heat is transferred outwards faster than at the rest of the inside wall. When
viewed from the inside, the temperature of this area is lower than the surrounding
areas and when viewed from outside higher than the surrounding areas. This often
indicates faulty or inadequate insulation.
For this purpose, the CondenseSpot Plus compares the ambient temperature with the surface temperature.
If there are large differences in both temperatures, the device will trigger warnings in 2 stages: „CHK“ is
displayed in borderline cases or the display lighting changes to „blue“ or „red“ to indicate the differences
are very large.

Continuous measurement
By selecting the „Cont LOK“ function, continuous measurements can
be carried out without having to permanently press the trigger button.
Factory setting
The „FAC“ function resets the device to the factory setting.
Continuous measurement starts by briefly pressing the trigger button.
A lock symbol appears on the display. The value is held (HOLD) by
pressing the button again.
