4-5-3. Setting the Alarm Reset Mode
The MODE switch 8 (alarm mode switch) setting is used to switch between the automatic reset mode for
automatically resetting the alarm or the hold mode for holding the alarm until the power is turned on again.
Automatic reset mode
The alarm signal is output for approximately 400 ms. The alarm is automatically reset after approximately
400 ms if the cause of the alarm is cleared within this time. If the cause of the alarm is not cleared within
approximately 400 ms, it will be reset once the cause of the alarm has been cleared.
This mode is the default setting.
Hold mode
When the scale is in alarm status, the alarm status continues to be held even after the element causing the
alarm is removed. The alarm is reset when the power is turned off and then on again if the cause of the alarm
has been cleared.
