7.  CARTRIDGE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

7.1  Tool will automatically turn off once cartridge is emptied and the rack drive has reached its maximum extension.
7.2   Unscrew Mixing Nozzle and set aside. Open clutch and pull rack handle to full open position. Remove emptied cartridge.
7.3  Insert new cartridge and follow instructions in Operating Instructions, section 5. Make sure to snap off protective tip of cartridge before screwing on Mixing Nozzle.

TIP: IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO INSTALL A NEW MIXING NOZZLE WITH EACH NEW CARTRIDGE. SINCE LATAPOXY

®

 310 STONE ADHESIVE OFFERS 

A 45 MINUTE WORKING TIME, TOOL MAY BE IDLE FOR 45 MINUTES BEFORE THE ADHESIVE CURES IN THE NOZZLE AND CANNOT BE USED. PLAN 

ON USING 1-2 MIXING NOZZLES PER DAY WHEN USING STANDARD VERSION. LATAPOXY 310 RAPID STONE ADHESIVE: FREQUENT NOZZLE 

REPLACEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED.
NOTE: MIXING NOZZLES CONTAINING CURED MATERIAL CAN NOT BE REUSED AND MUST BE DISCARDED.

8.  CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

 310 Cordless Mixer has been designed to provide dependable operation. There is no regular maintenance needed however it is important to keep the tool clean and free 

from adhesive build up. Effort must be made to keep adhesive, dirt and foreign objects off rack drive which may get caught in motor. Observe the following:

WARNING – 

To reduce risk of injury, always unplug the Charger and remove the Battery from the Charger or the tool before performing any maintenance. Never disassemble the 

tool Battery or Charger. The Battery must be removed from the tool before disposal. All batteries shall be disposed of safely in accordance with local laws and regulations.
8.1  Always unplug Charger before cleaning and when it is not in use. Failure to do so may result in shock or fire.
8.2  Keep rack drives free from any adhesive or other debris. Remove any un-cured LATAPOXY 310 Stone Adhesive thoroughly with damp wire brush and dry cloth. DO NOT RINSE TOOL 

WITH WATER! Cured adhesive on rack drives will require removal via wire brush. Consult LATICRETE Technical Services.

8.3  Do not adjust internal components. This may cause an unsafe condition. 
8.4  Keep face of pistons clean, free from any LATAPOXY 310 Stone Adhesive to allow for proper contact with cartridge plungers. Adhesive build up on pistons may cause uneven force on 

cartridge and subsequent failure.

8.5  If the LATAPOXY 310 Cordless Mixer is not running at full capacity, check to be sure that the Battery is fully charged and that the contacts on the Battery and tool are both clean. If 

they require maintenance, use caution and clean with an eraser. 

8.6  Keep handles clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Clean with mild soap and damp cloth. Do not use solvents or cleaning agents that can damage tool. Do not immerse dispenser, 

battery, or charger in any liquid, as this may cause damage and unsafe conditions.

8.7  Follow cleaning and maintenance instructions in Battery and Charger manual.
8.8  Apply light coating of light machine oil to lubricate Racks as needed.
8.9  Recycle used Batteries. Comply with all disposal regulations and laws.
