All data is saved with a European date and in 24-hour format, regardless of
the settings in the Command Touch.
The figure on the left is an extract from a log file.
If you wish to select a different [sample time] (1, 5,10 or 30 seconds), you
can do so in the [Graph settings].
6.9 Self-adaptation
The self-adaptation function can be used to automatically find the best
control parameters for the internal bath application or external application.
Self-adaptation can only be executed on one device with active cooling.
The self-adaptation function performs a test run of the thermostatic circu-
lator to determine the parameters. The device and external application must
both be ready for operation.
The self-adaptation test is performed with the preset pump level. The best
results can be expected at the highest pump levels.
The test run must be performed on a passive system. In other words, changes
cannot be made to the system and exothermic or endothermic reactions
must not occur during the test run.
The test run takes between 30 minutes and a maximum of 3 hours,
depending on the application. During the run, the bath temperature deviates
a maximum of ±15 Kelvin from the defined set point. At the end of the test
run, the calculated control parameters are adopted automatically and can
then be saved in the Command Touch.
