8.1
Alarms, warnings and errors
All alarms, error messages and warnings triggered on the device appear in
text form on the display.
Alarms affect safety. The heater is switched off and the visual operation
and fault indicator (LED) flashes red. The device emits a two-tone acoustic
signal. Once the cause of the fault has been eliminated, the alarm can be
lifted by pressing the red unlock button. This button is located on the back or
side of the device, depending on the device.
Refer to
Chapter 8.2 “Alarms” on page 120 for a list of alarms.
Warnings do not have a significant effect on safety. The device continues
to operate. The device momentarily emits a warning tone. Warnings are
issued periodically. Once the cause of the fault has been eliminated, you can
acknowledge the warnings on the Base or Command Touch remote control
unit.
Refer to
Chapter 8.3 “Control system warnings” on page 121 and
Chapter 8.4 “Safety system warnings” on page 123 for a list of warnings.
If an error occurs, the device emits a two-tone acoustic signal.
If this happens, switch off the device at the mains switch. If the error occurs
again after the device is switched back on, note down the error message
together with the detailed code. Then contact LAUDA Service Temperature
control devices. You will find the contact information here
The error messages appear on the device display together with a
detailed code and a consecutive number in the sequence in which
they occurred.
