Safety
1.1 General safety instructions

The devices must only be operated for the intended purpose
under the conditions stated in this operating manual. Any other
operating mode is considered to be non-intended use and can
impair the protection provided by the device.

The devices are not designed for use under medical conditions
in accordance with DIN EN 60601-1 or IEC 601-1!

The operating manual is a constituent part of the device. The
information in this operating manual must therefore be avail-
able in the immediate vicinity of the device. Also take care to
keep this copy of the operating manual.

Use of the device results in hazards from high and low tempera-
tures and from the use of electrical energy. The hazards arising
from the device have been eliminated as far as possible by the
design in accordance with the applicable standards. Residual haz-
ards are reduced using any of the following measures:

If relevant, there are safety fittings for the device. These
devices are essential for the safety of the device. Their func-
tionality must be ensured by carrying out the appropriate main-
tenance activities.
