REPLACING THE SIDE BROOM:
This operation must be carried out with the motor off.
1 - Unscrew the ring nut Detail 1 Fig. 18 located centrally and under the side broom, which will
automatically descend .
2 - Change the worn broom with the new one, tightening the ring nut fi rmly.
S PECIFIC MAINTENANCE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES
TO CHECK OR CHANGE MOTOR OIL IT IS NECESSARY TO WEAR GLOVES, POSSIBLY
COTTON-LINED NITRILE RUBBER; DO NOT DISPOSE OF OIL AS HOUSEHOLD WASTE
AS IT IS HIGHLY POLLUTING; DISPOSE OF EXHAUSTED OIL IN ACCORDANCE OF
LEGISLATION IN FORCE.
Read the attached instructions booklet for the motor carefully, and note:
1)
Check the oil level every 20 hours of operation .
2)
First oil change after 10 hours of operation, the sump contains approximately hg . 6 of oil; the
recommended oil for temperate climates is 10W-30 multi-grade for motors that run on petrol .
When operating the machine in non-temperate climate zones, identify the suitable type of oil from
the motor booklet . Use the designated oil discharge pipe for oil changes .
3)
Change oil every 40/50 hours of operation thereafter .
4)
Clean the motor air cartridge every 25 hours of operation, or sooner if necessary, and replace
when necessary (see motor booklet) .
SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS FOR THE BATTERIES
OBSERVE THE RULES AND PRECAUTIONS PROVIDED IN “CHAPTER 9 - SAFETY
STANDARDS”.
1 . In order for the batteries to last for a suitable amount of time, whether they are fl at or tubular, never
let them go completely fl at. COMPLETELY FLAT BATTERIES (INCLUDING NEW ONES) CANNOT
BE RE-CHARGED.
2 . Check the level of battery solution frequently, and add distilled water only, as needed .
3 . Always re-charge the batteries without interrupting the cycle .
4 . DISPOSE OF THE EXHAUST BATTERIES IN ACCORDANCE TO THE LAWS IN FORCE .
