CHAPTER 8 - CONTROL STATION AND EMERGENCY STOP
WORK STATION:
The work station must be occupied by the operator during machine operation, and is illustrated in Fig. 12.
IMPORTANT: For safety reasons the machine turns off automatically if the operator
leaves the driver’s seat.
EMERGENCY STOP:
Turn the ignition key counter-clockwise Detail 6 fi g.11.
CHAPTER 9 - SAFETY STANDARDS
RESIDUAL RISKS THAT CANNOT BE ELIMINATED
DEFINITION: Residual risks that cannot be eliminated are all of those risks that, for several
reasons, cannot be removed, and for each one we provide the instructions to operate in
maximum safety.
•
The risk of injury to hands, body and eyesight, by operating the machine without using safety protections
correctly assembled and fully intact .
•
The risk of injuries to hands if, for any reason, you touch the side broom or the central broom, as
they are spinning . The brooms can only be touched when the motor is switched off and with the aid of
protective gloves, to avoid poking or cutting yourself with sharp slivers of debris in the bristles .
•
The risk of inhaling harmful substances, scratches to hands, when emptying out the container (hopper),
without using protective gloves and mask to protect the respiratory tract .
•
The risk of not controlling the machine by using it on gradients that exceed those stated in chapter 5 or
not leaving it stopped in a parking position .
•
The risk of explosion or fi re by fi lling it up with the motor running or with the motor off but not completely
cooled down .
•
The risk of serious burns by carrying out any form of maintenance with the motor running or with the
motor off but not completely cooled down .
•
Risk of inhalation of exhaust gas in case of use in not adequately aired spaces .
GENERAL RISKS FOR THE BATTERIES
•
Before re-charging the batteries make sure the room is well-ventilated or re-charge the batteries in
facilities set up specifi cally for this purpose.
