FUELING:
1. Always use extreme care when handling fuel. Fuel is highly flammable.
2. Never attempt to fuel the blower/vac if the fuel system components are damaged or leaking.
3. Never attempt to refuel the engine while it is running or still warm. Allow it to cool first.
4. Never smoke or light any fires near the blower/vac or fuels. Always transport and store fuels in
an approved container.
5. Never operate the blower/vac without a properly functioning muffler and spark arrester installed.
6. Do not use petrol which contains ethanol or methanol as it may damage the fuel lines and other
engine parts.
7. Mix only enough fuel for your immediate needs. If fuel must be stored longer than 30 days, it
should first be treated with a stabiliser or similar product.
MOTOR FUEL:
1. Use a petrol/oil mix at 40:1 ratio only. Mix petrol and oil in the fuel mixing can (27) included in the
delivery: Fill with petrol (gas) up to the “585.4” mark. Fill with two-stroke engine oil (oil) up to the
“600” mark. Close the container and shake carefully.
2. Use fresh unleaded petrol. You must use 100% synthetic oil specifically made for heavily
stressed two-stroke engines.
3. Mix the petrol and oil in an approved container. Never mix fuel directly in the fuel tank.
4. Place the blower/vac upright on the ground or on a sturdy bench and wipe any debris from
around the fuel cap.
5. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and pour the mixture into the tank with the aid of a funnel.
6. Be careful not to spill any mixture. If this happens, wipe the spill with a clean rag.
7. Start the engine at least 3 meters away from the area where the fuel tank has been filled up in
order to avoid any risk of fire.
