Allow the blades to shave the stump.
If the engine stalls, there is too much
downward pressure on the blade.
Allow the machine to do the work.
6.
Keep the blades out of the dirt as
much as possible. Dirt, sand, or rocks
will dull the cutting blades.
7.
If removing multiple stumps, do the
largest stump first.
8.
When chips collect under the machine,
stop the blades, pull the unit back,
and remove the chips so the unit is
easier to move side to side.
9.
Start on 1 side of the stump and work
needed to get the desired depth,
finish the first pass before starting the

nd
pass.
CONTROLS
1.
To engage the cutting head, squeeze
and hold the left control handle to
engage the cutters. To stop the
cutter, release the handle.
2.
To apply the wheel brake, pull the
right control lever back. To release
the brake, push the control lever
forward.
3.
The engine should operate at full
throttle which is adjusted on the side
of the engine. See engine label on
the right side for the control function.
4.
The handles will fold down for
transporting.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Before each days use:
a.
Check the teeth for sharpness.
Rotate or replace if needed.
b.
Check the teeth to ensure each
one is tight and not damaged.
c.
Run the unit and check for any
excessive vibrations.
d.
Check and clean the air filter if
needed.
e.
Check and
add engine
oil if
needed.
2.
As needed or
every rental
replace or rotate
the cutting teeth.
a.
To rotate
the tooth:
loosen the
nut and
tap the tooth forward to it can
rotate. Rotate 1/3 of a
revolution and align the locking
surfaces then tighten the tooth.
b.
When the tooth needs replaced:
remove the nut and install a
new tooth and nut.
3.
Every 100 hours
a.
Replace the engine air filter
b.
Change the engine oil
c.
Check and adjust belt tension if
need.
