Monitoring Controls (on the Surface)
Central Modules (Monitoring Functions)
For each section, the monitor sources are identical, and can be selected independently so that you can listen
to say PGM 1 on the DJ headphones while sending PGM 3 to the guest phones.
Six monitor sources can be selected directly from the surface: PGM 1, PGM 2, PGM 3, AUX 1, AUX 2 or EXT
(the external input). Additional monitor sources,and other options, are then available via the "Monitor Extension"
pop-ups on DisplayDock. These can be opened by pressing any of the wide buttons below the volume controls
- e.g. press
CRM
to open the extension for the Control Room speakers; press
DJ HP
to open the extension for
the DJ's Headphones; and so on. The additional functions are described
In each case, turn the rotary controls to adjust the monitor volume. For the CRM and STUDIO outputs, the
MUTE
and
DIM
keys allow you to quickly mute or dim the volume of the loudspeakers.
The stereo PPM on the first Central Module follows the MON CR source selector. The meter shows the level
before
the Volume, Mute and Dim.
