The Local Matrix
The local matrix allows you to change the default audio assignments for the line-level, headphone and AES3
outputs.
Advanced Page (Local Matrix)
The matrix is divided into two halves: "Sources" at the top and "Destinations" at the bottom.
The available "Sources" are:
·
The monitor outputs: MON CR, MON DJ, MON GUEST & MON STUDIO.
·
The summing bus outputs: PGM 1 to 3 and AUX 1 & 2.
·
The N-1 outputs for HYBRID 1 & 2 (as a dual-mono feed) and the AES CODEC.
·
Internal TONE.
Each of the "Destination" buttons represents a local stereo output (e.g. LINE 1, LINE 2, etc). The label below
the button shows the assigned source (e.g. PGM 1, HYBRID 1/2, etc). If a destination is already assigned, then
its button is red. If no audio is assigned, then the button is blue. Note that the assignments shown above are the
default audio assignments for a Button Start console. The default audio for a Fader Start console is identical
other than Slot 2 is fitted with an AES3 IO card rather than LINE IO.
To change an output assignment:
1
.
Select a "Destination" button - the button starts to flash.
2
.
Select an available "Source" (e.g. PGM 1) - the routing assignment is made and the button changes to
static (red).
3
.
Alternatively, repeat step 1 and then select
DISCONNECT
- the current audio source is removed and
the button changes to static (blue).
DEFAULT Audio
The
DEFAULT
button can be used to reset the matrix to the default audio assignments (shown on the previous
page).
Note that you will need to press and hold
UNLOCK
(on the
) before you can select
DEFAULT
(on the GUI). This prevents an accidental reset of the output matrix.
