Guest mics: MIC 2, MIC 3 and MIC 4
·
Hybrids: HYB 1 and HYB 2
·
AES CODEC
·

PFL / CUE
The pre-fade listen function varies slightly depending on the console edition.
Fader Start Edition
On Fader Start consoles, the function is called
PFL
and can be found on the large key at the bottom of the
fader strip. Multiple
PFL
s can be active to listen to a number of sources:
·
On a closed fader, press
PFL
to route the source onto the stereo PFL bus; the
PFL
automatically
cancels when you open the fader.
·
On an open fader, press
PFL
to put the channel into "PFL Prepare". Nothing happens until you close
the fader; once the fader is closed,
PFL
becomes active.
Button Start Edition
On Button Start consoles, the pre-fade listen function is called
CUE
and can be found on one of the small
buttons by the electronic display. Multiple
CUE
s can be active to listen to a number of sources.
·
On any fader (open or closed), press
CUE
to route the source onto the stereo cue bus. To remove the
source from the cue bus, deselect the
CUE
button.
Note that on a Button Start console, there is no automatic cancellation of PFL and no "PFL Prepare".
Monitoring Options
Whenever PFL (or CUE) is active, the bus is switched to the control room speakers and DJ headphones. The
monitor outputs will return to their active monitor source once all PFL (or CUE) selections are cleared.
Select
CLEAR PFL
on the Central Module to cancel all active PFLs quickly.
