The laser to punch distance is displayed in mm, and you must ensure that the laser is set to
this distance below the punch tip. Refer to

Mute Point
The mute point is the point where the optical protection is turned off, so that the material
being formed cannot cause an obstruction. During the setup procedure the material position
is detected by the LZS-1 optical guard, and the mute point of the system is automatically set
2mm above the surface of the material, refer to
3.4
Normal Mode
This is the default mode at start-up. In Normal Mode all sensors (front, middle and rear) are
active. When the foot pedal is pressed the system checks that the sensors are clear and
allows the tools to close in high speed. The machine then decelerates to pressing speed just
before the mute point, as shown in
