Adjustment of the counterbalance:
The barrier is equipped with a counterbalance spring to counterbalance the weight of the boom.
For reversible barriers, the counterbalance can be used to automatically raise the boom in the event of
power cuts.
Whether or not to obtain the automatic lifting function, the counterbalance must be adjusted by:

Increasing the counterbalance:
Activation/Increase of automatic lifting
•
Reducing the counterbalance:
Reduction/Deactivation of automatic lifting
The counterbalance is adjusted switched off!
The counterbalance is adjusted in the following way:
1-
Unscrew the locknut on the spring rod
2-
Tighten (or loosen) the nut to have more (or less) counterbalance
3-
Tighten the locknut
Comments:
-
Automatic lifting must be slow to prevent the boom from hitting the opening stop too
abruptly.

Automatic lifting may be limited by the length of the boom and/or the weight of the
accessories on the boom.
