Transport and storage
6.1
Transport instructions
For safety reasons, the transport instructions are as follows:
► Any person whatsoever involved in the loading, transport or unloading of the barrier’s
elements must be equipped with personal protective equipment
► Use a suitable transport tool (pallet truck or forklift truck) to unload or handle the packaged
products
► At least two people are needed to unload the housing and the boom from the pallet
► Use a suitable lifting device to move the barrier's housing (two-wheel hand truck, etc.)
► Use suitable lifting equipment for the barrier’s boom (straps, etc.)
6.2
Checks after transport
The delivery must be checked upon receipt to make sure that everything is there and that there is no
damage due to transport.
In the event of visible damage due to transport or missing parts:
►
Do not accept the delivery, or only accept it subject to reservations
►
Note the extent of the damage on the delivery note
►
File a complaint with “La Barrière Automatique”
6.3
Storage instructions
Please store the barrier’s elements in the following conditions:
•
Indoors
•
In a dry place
•
Immobile
•
Protected from dust, sunlight, splashing of fluids
•
Storage temperature: -30 to 70°C
•
Ambient humidity: max. 95% (50% above 30°C)
•
For long-
term storage, regularly check the general condition of the barrier’s various
elements
