WARNING

No special skills are required to install this appliance. Yet, if any installation work and/or electrical wiring are
necessary, it must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards,
including fire-rated construction.
b) Sufficient air is needed for proper combustion and exhausting of gases through the
flue(chimney) of fuel burning equipment to prevent back drafting. Follow the heating
equipment manufacturer’s guideline and safety standards such as those published by the
National Fire Protection Association
(NFPA), and the
American Society for Heating,
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE),
as well as
local code
s and
regulations.
c) When cutting or drilling into
the
wall or ceiling,
DO NOT DAMAGE
electrical wiring
and other
utilities.
d) Ducted fans must always be vented to the outdoors.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance
does not required additional grounding.
These rangehoods are cord-connected with a power
supply cord and plug with ground-pin. Electrical installation only requires plugging the appliance into a suitable
electrical outlet near the rangehood. Additional grounding is not required. Electrical installation is not required
by a qualified electrician.
Do not use an extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short, have a qualified
electrician install an outlet near the appliance.
