Secure a nylon sling around the cylinder as shown
and attach to a suitable lifting device with a
capacity of 500
lbs
(227
kg). Operate the hoist to make the
lifting cable snug without applying
strain on the cylinder.

Shift the packer panel lever inward to partially retract
the packer panel cylinders. Disengage the
lever when the panel is vertical. This relieves the weight
of the panel from the cylinder rod end.
4.
Remove the capscrews (1), lockwashers (2) and pivot pin cover (3) from the rod end.
