Auxiliary Inverter (if installed) — Check:
(1) AUX INVERTER ON-OFF Switch — ON. Check AUX
INV light not illuminated.
(2) SEC INVERTER Switch — OFF. Check AC VOLTS read-
ing is within green arc.

PRI, SEC, and AUX INVERTER (if installed) Switches — On.
On aircraft with auxiliary inverter,
it is recommended
that all three inverters be On during normal operations
for maximum inverter life.
12. EMER LT Switch (if installed) — TEST; check for illumination, then
switch — ARMED.
For thru flight,
EMER LT Switch (if installed) — ARMED.
13. Systems Pressure Checks:
a.
EMERGENCY AIR Pressure Gage — Check.
b.
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE Gage — Check. If pressure is below
1000 psi, HYD PUMP Switch — On.
14. PARKING BRAKE — Set. PARK BRAKE light (if installed) illumi-
nated.
15. EMER BRAKE — Pull the handle out of the recess then return. Do
not push the handle downward, as it may introduce emergency
brake air into the hydraulic system.
16. HYD PUMP Switch — OFF.
17. Warning Light Test Switch (under glareshield) — Depress switch
and check annunciator panel lights, MSTR WARN lights, FIRE
PULL or ENG FIRE PULL T-Handle warning lights, ARMED lights,
ANTI-SKID GEN lights, instrument panel annunciator lights, AIR
IGN lights, Starter Engaged lights (if installed), and fuel panel lights
illuminate. During daylight, check photoelectric cells by covering
both cells and noting that lights dim. Alternately uncover and cover
cells to ensure warning lights dim and come on full bright. During
darkness, check photoelectric cells by shining flashlight on each cell
and noting that lights are full bright. Then note that lights dim when
light source is removed.
18. Warning System Checks:
a.
Windshield Ice Detect Lights — Check illuminated by placing
an object between the lights and windshield, use care to pre-
vent scratching windshield when checking ice detect lights.
b.
Landing Gear Lights — Check; three (3) green. Then TEST-
MUTE Switch — TEST. Check horn and three (3) red
UNSAFE lights illuminated.
c.
Fire Detect System — Check:
(1) TEST Selector Switch — Rotate to FIRE DET.
