c) Light Mode three - Signal:
when the product
is off, firmly press the front switch until it
blinks thrice. The white LED will glows with full
brightness (light function: Power). A second
touch to the button on top of the lamp will start
the strobe (12 Hz) (light function: Pulse), and a
third touch will turn the lamp off.
Note: In the low power- and power- function,
you can adjust the brightness stepless by
turning the multi-function "Wheel" switch (Dim
function). A short flash indicates the darkest (5
lumens) or brightest setting.
In the Pulse- function, you can speed up or
slow down the flashing frequency by turning
the multi-function "Wheel" switch (Pulse
function).
d) Boost Mode:
in each setting, press the front
switch for 2 seconds, you will enter to boost
mode, after a short time the flashlight will
return to previous choosing.
The Light Functions above are in a loop.
Note: when switching between modes, press
the “Multi-function Wheel” switch button no
longer than 2 seconds, otherwise the product
will turn off.
5.2 Light Program Red (rear light)
ON-OFF / transition mode (change modes
within 2 seconds, but more than 2 seconds the
lamp will turn off) / charge indicator/ battery
capacity indicator function is available for the
red LED:
1) ON-OFF function:
in any status, two red LED
will light up by pressing the “Multi-function
Wheel” switch once: the LEDs will start to blink,
by pressing the switch twice; at the third push
the LEDs will turn OFF.
2) Charge indicator function:
the red LED will
glow when charging. After full charge, the LED
will glow green. Note that the white LED will
not work when charging.
3) Battery capacity indicator:
when you start
to use white LED, the red LED on the battery
box will glow for 5 seconds and then turn off.
Green means that the battery capacity is at
50%-100%; yellow means the battery capacity
is at 20-49%; when the red LED is glowing the
battery capacity is lower than 19% & not suit
for long time use, therefore must be charged.
6. Energy Modes
By selecting one of the two Energy Modes
(Energy Saving or Constant Current), you
decide how the energy contained in the
accumulator or batteries are used.
6.1 Energy Saving:
The light output is
controlled by the integrated Smart Light
Technology (SLT). The brightness is adjusted
to the realistic conditions that occur during
normal use of the lamp, thus providing a longer
burn time.
6.2 Constant Current:
This Energy Mode allows
the continuous use of all the Light Functions
with a constant light output. This Energy Mode
is preferrable when a high brightness level is
more important than a long burn time
6.3 Changing the Energy Modes
Changing the Energy Modes can only be done
when the flashlight is in Light Program White
and the lamp is turned Off. To change the
energy mode, with the white LED off, press the
“Multi-function Wheel” on the back 8 times,
then on the 8th click keep the knob pressed
for approx. 2-4 seconds. This should allow
you change between the “energy mode“ and
“constant current mode.“ You know which
mode you are in when:
a) Constant current mode:
the brightness
reduces immediately in 2 seconds.
b) Energy saving mode:
the brightness reduce
gradually to zero.
With this procedure, you can switch between
the two Energy Modes. It is not possible to
determine in which Energy Mode the H7R.2
is. To find this out, you must carry out the
procedure. If the H7R.2 is thereafter not in
the desired Energy Mode any more, you must
repeat the procedure again. The flashlight will
reset to energy saving mode if you change the
battery or cut the power.
7. “Transport Lock”
When the H7R.2 switched Off, press the front
switch for approx. 5 seconds till the light turns
off in order to enable the “Transport Lock.” The
H7R.2 cannot be turned on any more, either
intentionally or unintentionally. Accidental
power consumption is not possible.
To deactivate the “Transport Lock”, just press
the front switch again for 5 seconds. The
headlamp will now return to the Light Program.
8. Reset function
If the Accumulator-Pack & the alkaline
batteries are taken out the battery box you
have "reset" the H7R.2. You have thus reset a
few functions:
The Light Program White (see Section 5.1) is
activated
The Light Function Dim (see Section 5.1) is set
to low brightness
As Energy Mode Energy Saving is activated (see
Section 6).
The “Transport Lock“ (see Section 7) is
deactivated
9. Charging
The H7R.2 indicates by the flashing white LED
that it is running out of energy in near future.
Please charge the Accumulator-pack in time.
Charge the Accumulator-pack of your H7R.2 in
a dry place and only by using the charger that
is included in the delivery or by a USB port (see
below).
The following information applies only to the
included accessories. You cannot charge any
other accumulators or batteries in the H7R.2.
In the scope of delivery of the H7R.2 there
is a plug and a charger. In case both are not
connected already, please connect them so
that the connection clicks.
H7R.2 charger has a USB port which must be
