cumstances be exceeded.
German Road Traffic Licensing Legislation (STVZO) allows
a maximum overall weight of 40 kg for trailers without a brake
system.
The trailer should not be manipulated or altered, and additional features
of any kind should not be mounted on it unless such have been express -
ly approved by the manufacturer. Components which have been screwed
on by the manufacturer should only be loosened or replaced at the
manufacturer’s facility or by authorised specialised personnel.
The manufacturer bears no liability whatsoever for accidents or defects
of any kind which result from incorrect use.
Additional equipment________________________________________
Extensive accessories can be obtained for the Leggero® Cuatro.
Please enquire at your retailer or directly at the manufacturer concerning

Safety instructions
Please read the following safety instructions carefully.
Please note the legal requirements in force and recommendations
relating to use and the transportation of children and goods in the
country in which the bicycle trailer is used.
Information should also be obtained concerning national regulations if
you intend to use the trailer on trips or journeys which cross national
borders.
Danger! Accident risk! The following safety instructions should be
adhered to if accidents and life-threatening situations are to be
avoid ed:
• Use of the trailer on motorised vehicles is prohibited.
• The Leggero® Cuatro should only be hitched to the bicycle using the
coupling provided.
• Children should wear a seat belt at all times to reduce to a minimum
any possibility of acaccidents injuries. The adjustable safety belts
should be adapted to suit the children involved. The central seating
position is recommended when one child is being transported. It is
strongly recommended that a safety helmet be worn (please note
national legislation in this respect).
• Children younger than 1 year of age should not be transpor-
ted in the trailer.
• Never leave children unsupervised in the trailer.
• Children travelling in the trailer should have sufficient head -
room if the roll bar safety function is to be ensured (recom-
mended: at least 5 cm).
• The interior can become extremely hot as a result of strong
sunlight rays when the hood is closed, and this can have
adverse effects which may prove dangerous to children.
• Mount a splash guard on the bicycle to prevent splashing and pene-
tration of loose objects.
• It is recommended that rear-view mirrors be fitted to the bicycle.
• There is an increased risk of overturning when negotiating curves.
The hood provided with delivery must be fitted when using the trailer.
