3.1.2 Usage announcements for battery
In case of fire, please use dry powder fire extinguisher, liquid fire extinguisher may cause
electric shock.
WARNING
The product is class C3 device. If the product is used for residential purposes, it may cause
wireless interference. User should take actions to avoid the interference.
CAUTION
Warning label should be affixed away from the UPS location. Dangerous voltage exists in
the system even when the UPS is switched off. The warning labels should include:
(1) It supplies power for UPS.
(2) Please disconnect the UPS before wiring.
CAUTION
Please use specified battery only. Using non-specific battery will
cause damage to the UPS.
The charging voltage of different brands and different battery models
will vary.
Before using, ensure that the charging voltage of the UPS matches
that of battery. If in doubt, please consult the manufacturer
for support.

Keep away liquid or any other objects from the cabinet.
CAUTION
Battery operation must be done according to instructions, especially battery wiring.
Irregular operation will cause battery damage, and may even result in human injury.
• It is prohibited to short circuit the anode and cathode of the battery. The battery
wiring must be intact. It is strictly prohibited to touch any two wiring terminals of
battery or the bare terminals of wires simultaneously, as it may cause damage to
the battery and injury to humans.
• Prevent electrolyte leaking from batteries. The metal objects and circuit board
will be corroded by the overflowing electrolyte and results in equipment damage
and short circuit in the circuit board.
• Keep the battery away from fire sources and all devices to avoid sparks with could
result in unnecessary damage and loss.
WARNING
High leakage risk. The device must be grounded before electrical connection.
• While installing, connect the grounding wire first; when dismantling, the
grounding wire must be removed last.
• It is prohibited to damage the grounding conductor.
• The device must be connected with protection earthing permanently. Before
operating, please check the electric connection and ensure the device has been
connected to earth reliably.
WARNING
The static generated by humans may damage the electrostatic-sensitive components on
the PCB. Before touching the sensitive components, please wear anti-static rings and
connect the other end of the anti-static rings to the ground.
