Factory Reset
The factory reset feature resets all of your User Station's settings to the factory
defaults except for Network Settings and Date/Time Settings. All other
customized data is removed simultaneously, including:
•
All KVM switches added to the User Station
•
User credentials entered for each KVM switch
•
All Targets and access
•
User profiles
•
"admin" user profile is recreated with factory default settings
•
User groups other than the built-in user groups
•
Built-in user groups reset to factory default settings
•
All user preferences settings
•
System settings
•
Trusted certificates
•
Server certificates
•
Desktop background
•
Backup files
•
Log files
Note: To perform factory reset at startup instead of using the User Station
Configuration window, see
Factory Reset at Startup

To perform the factory reset:
1.
If not displayed, launch the User Station Configuration window. See
User
Station Configuration
(on page 27).
2.
Click Maintenance > Factory Reset. The factory reset page opens. Read this
page before proceeding to the next step.
