Chapter 6: Using the PX3TS
114
Manual Transfer When an Alarm is Present
Manual transfer is prevented when the PX3TS enters an alarm state, such as
the Phase Sync alarm. In certain scenarios, you still can force the PX3TS to
perform a manual transfer by holding the Alarm Override button while pressing
the Manual Transfer button. See
Manual Transfer Scenarios
(on page 113).
Note: The PX3TS indicates an alarm through the Alarm indicator lamps. See
Alarm Indicator Lamps
(on page 118).
To perform a manual transfer in the alarm state:
1.
Press and hold the Alarm Override button.
2.
Press the Manual Transfer button.
Power is transferred from the active inlet to the other inlet now. You can verify
the power transfer through the Active Inlet indicator lamps. See
Active Inlet
Indicator Lamps
(on page 117).
Transfer Switch Indicator Lamps
The Inlet Power indicator lamps are located to the left of the Alarm indicator
lamps. On the indicator lamps, I1 refers to Inlet 1, I2 to Inlet 2, and O to the
Output (outlets).
