CapT2 Station Installation
Note: When connecting CapT2 stations to multiple E-Flex panels or room controllers only one of these can provide the +24V DC power
to the stations. A jumper is provided on the E-Flex panel/room controller to enable or disable 24V power to the CAT5 cable.
1.
Ensure the E-Flex panel or room controller powering the stations is turned off at the circuit breaker.
2.
If this is a multi-gang installation, use the 6 inch jumper to connect each of the stations.
3.
Plug the CAT5 cable from the previous CapT2 station, E-Flex panel, or room controller into the RJ45 on the back
of the station. If multi-ganged plug into the end station. If daisy chaining, plug into the second RJ45 connector.
4.
Mount the station(s) to the backbox using the two screws provided with the station.
5.
Mount the faceplate.
6.
Turn on the power to the E-Flex panel or room controller. Verify the power indicator LED is lit.
7.
Follow with the proper configuration of the E-Flex panel or room controller and verify operation of each button.
For custom CapT2 stations, consult the factory drawings for specific operation.
