Initial Set Up
Charge the Battery
The LUME PAD is powered by a rechargeable, standard Li
‑
Ion battery. A USB charger cable
and USB plug adapter are included with the device for charging the battery.
For optimal battery performance and life, we recommend fully charging the battery before
first use as well as performing 3 full charge and discharge cycles.
1.
Connect the USB cable to the plug adapter then insert the USB cable into the LUME
PAD USB charger/ Accessory port.

Plug the adapter into any standard outlet.
Note:
Please use the LUME PAD charger for optimal charging.
If using an alternative, the
charger must be a 5V3A charger (15W). See

When you first turn the power on, a welcome screen that says "Hi there" is displayed after
the bootup screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize initial settings.

Tap "English (United States)” to change the language.

Then tap "Start."

Follow the on-screen instructions to make the following settings:

Setting the network connection
o
Copy Apps & Data
o
Set up your Google Account
o
Set up Google Services
o
Set the screen lock
o
Set up Google Assistant
After the initial settings are finished, we recommended you tap the
LeiaSpotlight app
on
the main home screen to view the most stunning collection of curated Lightfield content and
learn more about some of the main 3D apps and tools.
