Open access door (2) for lamp insert.
The illumination push-button (item 2, page 7) flashes orange.

CAUTION
Danger of skin burns. The lamp insert gets very hot.

Check that the cover has cooled before you replace the
lamp.

Remove the defective lamp insert (1 or 3) and install a new
lamp insert (available from Leica Microsystems).
When installing the lamp insert, make sure that the
arrow (4) is pointing to the left.

Close the access door again.
The illumination push-button (item 2, section 6.2) lights up
green.
Whenever you replace a bulb, reset the bulb's hour meter
to 0 by double-clicking the "Reset" button, see page 50.
11.5 Changing fuses

Remove the cover (1) with a screwdriver.

Unscrew the fuse holders, remove the fuses and replace them
with the fuse type specified in the table (2) on the back side of
the cover (1).
