Wildcard-search
Wildcard-searches are characterized by the "

". The
"
*
" serves as a wild-card for any given sequence of
characters.
Wildcards are used when the exact point ID is not
known or when a series of points are to be found.

Examples:

finds all points of any given length.

finds all points with the exact point ID "A".
A*
finds all points of any given length that start
with "A" (e.g.: A, A9, A15, ABCD).

finds all points of any given length that have
a "1" as a second digit (e.g. A1, B12, A1C).
A*1
finds all points of any given length with an
"A" as the first character and a "1" as the
third digit (e.g.: AB1, AA100, AS15).
