4. When the target mark appears, adjust the
right-hand diopter adjustment ring (4, red index)
– while still looking with both eyes through the
binoculars in a relaxed manner – so that you see
the target mark sharply.
5. Then adjust the image in the right-hand lens
sharply – with the target mark still displayed or
displayed again, but this time viewing with the
right eye – using the central focusing wheel.
Now look for an observation object at a range of
>100m.
6. Then adjust the image in the left-hand lens to
optimum focus using the left-hand diopter
adjustment ring (4).
7. You can read off the set values at the "+" or "-"
values of the diopter scales (4a).
Note:
When looking with only the left eye or right eye, the
other eye should be kept closed or simply cover the
front lens of the corresponding side of the
binoculars.
The viewing eye should be as relayed as possible.
