7.3 Changing the settings using the receiver
Before you are able to enter the menu mode on the receiver, it must
be turned off.
With the receiver off, press On/Off on the receiver for at least 3
seconds. Press and hold until the top LED is lit solidly, indicating
you’re in the 1st position of the menu mode. Continue pressing
On/Off to scroll to the 2nd menu position.
There are two menu positions on the receiver
1) Top LED indicates “accuracy menu position”
Coarse mode: Top and bottom LEDs blink
Narrow mode: 2nd and 4th LEDs blink
Press On/Off to change modes.
2) 2nd LED indicates “communication channel position”
The communication channels between the receiver and the remote
display may be changed – if there are two receivers on the job site,
use Channel 1 for one system and Channel 2 for the second system.
You must change the channel on BOTH – change the channel on the
remote (see previous instructions) BEFORE changing the channel on
the receiver.
If the remote display has no signal from the receiver, check if the
receiver is:
• Out of range
• Turned off
• On a different communication channel than the remote
If there is no communication between the two units, you cannot enter
menu mode on the remote. Check the items above to establish
