The guiding laser off signal will disable any guiding laser if this input is active. This
may help avoiding life time issues of this part, if welding operation is short compared
to machine on-time.
4.3.2 Digital outputs (X15)
The digital outputs are DC-isolated and are implemented as high side switches. The
user has to provide a DC voltage of 24V on terminal X15.1(-) and X15.10(+). In active
state, the output is connected to the positive supply. The current rating for an active
output is max. 500 mA. In inactive state the output is open with high impedance.

At power up, the signals X15.3 “System error or not ready” and X15.7/X15.4 “Laser
unit #X error or not ready” are active. As soon as the system inizializes and enters
“System ready” state, the signal X15.3 “System error or not ready” becomes inactiv.
The signal X15.7/X15.4 “Laserunit #X error or not ready” stays active, until the laser
unit enters “Laser unit ready” state.
The signal “Laser unit #X ready” is active, as soon as the laser units are supplied with
power (system in state “system ready” and key switch activ) and the laser modules
are ready for operation (sufficient cooling). If configured accordingly (see chapter 6.2
Gmode), the output may be configured such that the signal only becomes active after
the Interlock has been closed.
The interlock states signal alternates between active and inactive (blinking), if only
one of interlocks of all laser modules is closed.
