D.   Step by Step Lighting Instructions

Step 1.

   Remove access panel and locate LP tank in  

vented area.

Step 2.

   After verifying shutoff valve is in the 

“OFF” position, turn gas on at tank.

Step 3.

   Make sure AAA battery is installed in  

sparker by unscrewing the rubber sparker 

cup.   Begin pressing sparker.

Step 4.

   Make sure electrode is sparking.

Step 5.

   Turn shut-off valve to “ON” position while 

pushing igniter button.

Step 6.

   Adjust flame

Verify sparker is producing spark prior to turning 

gas on.

    NOTICE:

Due to the physical properties of glass, it is not 

uncommon for the included decorative glass beads to 

occasionally crack or split. This is completely normal 

and should not be cause for concern.
