Operation
Input Impedance
The DAC-6880 accepts either 110
Ω
balanced or 75
Ω
unbalanced digital
audio signals. The input impedance is set at the factory by the rear
module/adapter ordered and the front card-edge jumpers:
Terminated or Looping Inputs
The unit is factory set for looping inputs. To adjust the input impedance
to accommodate terminated inputs (non-looping) or looping inputs, use
the following instructions:
Full-Scale Analog Output Level
The full-scale analog output level can be set to +18 dBu or +24 dBu
through mid-card jumpers. To set the output level to +18 dBu, set
jumpers
J3
and
J4
to the frontmost position. To set the output level to
+24 dBu, set jumpers
J3
and
J4
to the rear position.
