TROUBLESHOOTING:
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Steam comes out
from the boiler
It may happen that, while filling
the tank, some water spilled over
the cap and flew inside the boiler
wetting the insulating material
In order to solve the problem, we suggest using the
machine as usual so to dry up the insulating material
through the heat of the machine. In case you still
have this problem after one working hour, please
contact the service shop
The steam iron
leaks steam mixed
with water
While filling the tank you may
have poured too much water into
it.
The problem will go on until the excess water is
emptied. Keep the steam switch depressed until the
water in the tank is at the correct level.
The iron plate has to be hot
before the steam passage
Please check that the temperature knob is on the
right position: “cotton
°°°)”
No steam comes
out from the iron
The iron switch might be off
Turn the iron switch on, the red led comes on; wait
for 4 minutes so that the iron plate warms
The boiler switch might be off
Turn the boiler switch on, the red led comes on: wait
for 10 minutes for the PS121 and 15 minutes for the
PS125 so that the boiler reaches the right pressure to
produce steam.
The water might be finished (the
low water light indicator might be
on)
Fill it to the required level following the instructions
carefully.
The ironing board is
wet
The ironing board cover might
not be able to absorb the steam
completely
You might use a thicker cover (or two covers) so to
create a thicker surface to absorb the steam better. In
case you are using a vacuum table, switch on the
vacuum function each time you are using the steam
The steam iron leaks steam
mixed with water (check by
spraying some steam on a dry
cloth)
See # 2
The iron leaks dirty
water
Maybe some dirty water might
have gone into the tank and it is
given off from the iron.
Fill the empty tank with 1 liter of water, screw the cap
up, shake it, open the cap and empty the tank.
Repeat the action until the water is cleaned. We do
not recommend the use of any additive to pour in the
tank. Before ironing again spray some steam on a
cloth until clean steam comes out.
