SITUATION C: 2 INSTRUMENTS / 2 EFFECTS
In DUAL mode, on the other hand, the FX 22 operates like two completely separate processors and allows
you to process two signals or two different instruments completely independently.
To try out DUAL mode, proceed as follows:
1 - Connect send 1 of the mixer (or the output of the first instrument) to the FX A input.
2 - Connect send 2 of the mixer (or the output of the second instrument) to the FX B input.
3 - Connect the OUTPUT of the FX 22 to the mixer’s EFF RETURN (or to the amplifier).
4 - Set the MODE selector on DUAL.
5 - Adjust the input levels using the INPUT LEVEL potentiometers on the panel rear, making certain the
red PEAK LEDs don’t remain permanently lit.
6 - You can now select two independent effects for the two signals by using the PRESETS and
VARIATIONS controls of the two FX A and FX B sections and set the effects’ OUT LEVEL and MIX
as required.
