Using the alarm
Alarm Setting
With radio on, press the ALARM button and “ALARM 1” will be display.
Press the Select/Snooze button to enter into setting mode, use the Prev or Next button to choose
Alarm 1 onto ON position, press Select/Snooze button to confirm.
The hours will flash, use the Prev or Next button to select hour. Press Select/Snooze button to
confirm.
The mins will flash, use the Prev or Next button to select the minutes. Press Select/Snooze button to
confirm.
The Vol digit will flash, use the Prev or Next button select the Volume. Press Select/Snooze button to
confirm.
The Mode: Alarm will flash, use the Prev or Next button select the Alarm source: Alarm/DAB/FM.
Press Select/Snooze button to confirm.
With radio on, press the Alarm/Sleep button twice, the “ALARM2” will be displayed.
The setting procedures is the same as the “ALARM1”.
NOTE: You can press the INFO/MENU button to get back last one step when in the process of the
setting the alarm.
Deactivate the alarm
Press the ALARM button and select the alarm you wish to turn off using the Prev or Next button to
choose the Alarm into OFF position.
Press Select/Snooze button. The alarm will be deactivated.
Turning off the alarm
Press the ALARM or Standby button to turn off the alarm when the alarm is sounding.
NOTE: The alarm will keep ringing for 1 hour if you do not turn it off when it is sounding.
Snooze Function
When the alarm is sounding, press the SELECT/SNOOZE button to turn off the alarm temporarily.The
alarm will be delayed for 9 mins and then come on again.
Station information on DAB mode
Every time you press the Info/Menu button in the DAB mode, the display will cycle through the
following display modes:
Dynamic Label Segment (DLS): Displays scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster.
Program type (PTY): Shows the type and description of the program provided by the DAB station.
Ensemble/Multiplex (Group name): A multiplex/ensemble is a collection of radio stations that are
bundled and transmitted on the frequency.
Channel Frequency: Displays the station’s transmission channel number and frequency.
Audio type/Bit rate: You will see the audio mode, this displays the type of broadcast you are
receiving.
