A natural to LP/propane gas changeover kit is required to
convert unit. Refer to the installation instructions supplied
with the changeover kit for conversion procedure.
The combustion air pressure switches are factory-set and
require no adjustment. Table 11 lists which type of pres
sure switch to use for each G23(X) model number based
on the altitude of the installation:

Other Unit Adjustments
Natural to LP/Propane Changeover
A natural gas to LP/propane gas changeover kit is re
quired to convert unit. Refer to installation instructions
supplied with kit for conversion procedure.
Heat Anticipation Settings
Thermostat anticipator setting (if adjustable) should be set
according to amps listed on wiring diagram on unit.
Flame Rollout Switch
Factory set: No adjustment necessary.
Pressure Switch
The pressure switch is factory set. No adjustment is nec
essary. See High Altitude Section for pressure switch
changout for certain applications.
Limit Control
The Limit Control is factory set: No adjustment necessary.
Fan Control
The fan-on delay of 45 seconds is not adjustable. Fan-off
delay (time that the blower operates after the heat de
mand has been satisfied) can be adjusted by moving the
dip switch (S1) on the SureLight control. The unit is
shipped with a factory fan-off setting of 90 seconds. The
fan-off delay will affect comfort and is adjustable to satisfy
individual applications. See figure 28.

Temperature Rise
Check temperature rise and, if necessary, adjust blower
speed to maintain temperature rise within range shown
on unit rating plate.
Thermostat Adjustment
Thermostat anticipator setting (if adjustable) should be set
according to amps listed on wiring diagram on unit.
Electrical
1 - Check all wiring for loose connections.
2 - Check circuit breaker located on unit control box.
3 - Check for correct voltage at the furnace (furnace op
erating).
4 - Check amp-draw on blower motor.
Motor Nameplate __________Actual__________.
NOTE - Do not secure electrical conduit directly to ducting
or structure.
Blower Speeds
Refer to the blower speed selection chart on the unit wir
ing diagram.
NOTE-CFM readings are taken external to unit with a dry
evaporator coil and without accessories.
Flue and Chimney
1 - Check flue pipe, chimney and all connections for
tightness and to make sure there is no blockage.
2 - Check unit for proper draft. Refer to page 15.
