Chapter 3 System configuration
3.1 Installing drivers
We
provide
a
driver
CD
with
all
drivers
that
you
need
in
the
box.
You
can
install
drivers
from
the
CD.
Complete
the
following
steps
to
install
drivers
on
your
computer.
We
assume
that
the
CD
‐
ROM
is
designated
as
the
“E:”
disk.
Note:
Adhere
to
the
following
sequences,
otherwise
it
might
compromise
the
system’s
stability
and
audio
or
video
and
even
cause
you
to
reinstall
the
operating
system.
3.1.1
Installing
Chipset
driver
z
Insert
the
driver
CD.
z
Open
“E:\WinXP\Chipset\Setup.exe”.
In
the
appeared
installation
screen,
follow
the
instruction
to
start
the
files
copy
process.
z
At
the
end
of
installing,
restart
the
computer
to
complete
the
installation.

Installing
Graphic
Card
driver
z
Insert
the
driver
CD.
z
Base
on
the
different
Graphics
Card
to
install:
For
Discrete
Graphics
Card
machine:
Open
“E:\WinXP\VGA\Intel\Setup.exe”.
For
Integrated
Graphics
Card
machine:
Open
“E:\WinXP\VGA\Nvidia\Setup.exe”.
